Mixed Plate:
A mixed plate, a sampling of local food usually consisting of two scoops rice, macaroni salad, and several types of meat such as spam, teriyaki beef, and shoyu chicken.
Planet:
Any of the seven celestial bodies that in ancient belief have motions of their own among the fixed stars. Any of the large bodies that revolve around the sun in the solar system. What we're on.
Poi:
A staple food for the Hawaiian people. When the root of the taro plant is cooked, pounded until smooth, then thinned with water, it becomes poi. It has a paste-like consistency that only some people can acquire a taste for. It is special and unique in every way.
Poi Bowl:
A special bowl, usually made out of a special wood like Koa, to hold the poi. These bowls take precedence in a Hawaiian home... either on the kitchen or dining room table.
Poi Planet:
Communication services for the little guy (and then some) who desire assistance in getting the word out to the masses to promote a person, place or thing, via a combination of public relations, brand marketing, advertising, collateral; and of course, with a little aloha spirit.
